Brian Heim, CPA | Founder, Principal Member, and ALM Consultant
Brian is the principal member and founder of IRR-analytics, LLC and has been serving clients since 2014. Prior to starting IRR-analytics, Brian was a bank CFO with experience in many functions of a full-service financial institution, including treasury, investment portfolio management, loan and deposit operations, product development, pricing, mortgage operations, special assets, compliance, accounting, IT, HR, and marketing. He served as primary model administrator for an in-house financial model and used it effectively to measure and monitor interest rate risk, prepare financial forecasts and budgets, project liquidity and capital under stressed conditions, run ad hoc "what if" scenarios, measure and report business-unit performance, and generate monitoring reports. During this time, the business cycle fluctuated through a period that included strong economic growth, irrational expansion, severe recession, recovery, and modest growth. Brian’s broad experience and rigorous modeling during this period helped him develop a strong understanding of the balance between risk and return under a variety of economic conditions.
Brian is a graduate of North Dakota State University and the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Idaho.
